Columbia Technology Ventures (CTV) is the technology transfer office for Columbia University, committed to transforming academic research into marketable innovations. Each year, CTV manages over 400 invention disclosures, 100 licensing deals, and supports 20-30 new IP-backed startups, while overseeing more than 1,500 patent assets across fields such as biotechnology, IT, clean tech, and materials science.
