How do non-US climate tech companies enter US market?

Anne Wolfson is a transactional attorney with broad experience in technology. She counsels clients on commercial and regulatory issues related to the development, use and ownership of technology, data and other IP. She was a software developer for several years during and after college.

Anne began her legal career at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC and has applied her technology experience to questions in the financial services, biotech, and clean energy fields, managing clients’ overall legal and operational risk, and providing practical approaches to day-to-day business matters. Her clients have been affected uniquely by commercial shocks, including Y2K, the 9/11 attacks, the NYC blackout, the NYC subway strike, Hurricane Sandy, the COVID-19 pandemic, and bet-the-company IP litigation. 

Through her own law practice, Anne regularly addresses entrepreneurs, business founders and owners. She works with academic, governmental, trade and non-profit organizations that advise and support new entities, including several outside the US that work with local companies regarding US market entry. She is the former chair of the Small Law Firms Committee at the NYC Bar Association.

Anne has a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, an MA in Economics from Stanford University, and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, and is admitted to practice in New York.
