Our Speaker:
Bandhana is a business development professional with 20+ years of experience in supporting entrepreneurs, their business and the ecosystems that support them. She has extensive experience in conducting technology assessments for early-stage technologies in the varied areas of agriculture, food, sustainability, and medical/life sciences. In her career she has worked with 300+ federally funded small businesses and more than 1000+ small community businesses across Missouri, California and now New York. The combination of scientific knowledge, business acumen and legal understanding has given her the opportunity to engage in building entrepreneurial ecosystems both in the US and internationally. Bandhana is currently working as Executive Director, Koffman Southern Tier Incubator.

About Koffman Incubator:
Koffman incubator is one of the InBIA member incubators providing soft landing space to international companies looking to expand to the US market. So far 65 companies have participated in the Soft Landing New York program established in January 2022. The companies generally represent three sectors: Clean Energy, Battery and Energy Storage and Food/Agriculture. Although we have seen some companies in the areas of textiles, fashion, etc.
The program is designed as a hybrid program with a virtual session comprising 12 workshops focused on different areas of international law, HR, immigration, customer discovery, etc and in-person component (optional) includes 1-2 week of in-person engagement in Binghamton, NY. This is a FREE program for companies to participate however, they have to cover the costs of travel, and lodging during their in-person visit to upstate NY.

We will be open to discuss the Global Bridge program that focuses on specific sector companies that can provide soft landing to Korean companies looking to expand to the US market. There are three program components -
Kick -off week (Korea) - Koffman team provide in-person workshops providing insights and sensitizing the companies for US expansion and American work culture.
Virtual Program - 10-12 workshops on different topics that covers different aspects of business operations
Finals Weeks - in-person week in upstate NY for customer discovery, strategic partnerships, etc.
